Renew. Refresh. Reveal Radiance

What is a Chemical Peel?

A Chemical Peel is a safe and effective skin-resurfacing treatment designed to improve the appearance, texture, and clarity of your skin. By applying a carefully controlled chemical solution, the damaged outer layers of skin are gently exfoliated, allowing fresh, healthy skin to emerge.

This process helps to:

  • Smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Improve uneven tone and texture.
  • Brighten dull or sun-damaged skin.
  • Reduce acne scars and enlarged pores.

Chemical peels come in different strengths—superficial, medium, or deep—depending on your skin’s needs and the results you wish to achieve. Recovery time varies with the depth of the peel, allowing treatments to be tailored to your lifestyle and expectations.

The result is a refreshed, radiant complexion with softer, more even skin that looks naturally rejuvenated.

Benefits of Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are one of the most effective ways to refresh and renew the skin, offering both cosmetic and therapeutic benefits. By gently removing the damaged outer layers, they reveal smoother, healthier skin underneath while stimulating natural regeneration.

Key benefits include:

  • Smoother texture: Softens rough skin and minimizes enlarged pores for a more even surface.
  • Anti-aging effects: Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and early signs of aging.
  • Brighter complexion: Removes dead skin cells to reveal fresher, more radiant skin.
  • Pigmentation improvement: Helps fade freckles, melasma, sun damage, and age spots.
  • Acne support: Minimizes acne and post-acne marks, improving clarity.
  • Collagen stimulation: Encourages firmer, more elastic skin over time.
  • Customizable treatment: Available in different strengths (superficial, medium, deep) to suit your skin type and goals.
  • Quick & convenient: Many lighter peels, such as glycolic acid, can be performed in under 30 minutes with minimal downtime.
  • Enhanced skincare results: Improves absorption and effectiveness of your daily skincare products.
  • Versatility: Can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands, and even intimate areas for comprehensive rejuvenation.

More About Chemical Peel

At Skin Experts Polyclinic, we offer a wide range of chemical peels designed to precisely remove damaged outer layers of skin, revealing a smoother, fresher, and more radiant complexion, Lately, we’ve been prioritizing body peels in treating body acne and pigmentation, offering smoother, clearer skin with minimal downtime.

As for facial treatments, we’ve reduced the use of facial peels because we now prefer more targeted technologies like the Thulium Laser for pigmentation and Accure Laser for active acne and oil control.

We still believe peels are an essential step in many rejuvenation plans, whether performed alone or combined with other treatments such as Botox, fillers, PRP, or firming devices.

Chemical peels can significantly improve fine wrinkles, active acne and acne scars, sunspots, dullness, rough texture, and enlarged pores. Depending on the type of peel, recovery time can range from just a few hours to a week or more. For example:

  • Glycolic acid peels (superficial) cause only mild redness that fades within hours—makeup can be applied the same day.
  • TCA peels (medium depth) penetrate deeper, requiring 5–7 days of healing.
  • Mask-type peels are applied for 6–8 hours and then washed off, with skin healing fully in 3–7 days.

With careful sun protection and proper aftercare, results are long-lasting and can be enhanced with repeated sessions. Peels are also excellent for rejuvenating the neck, chest, hands, and intimate areas.
